PADOVA HACKATHON

2–4 May 2025

The Hybrid Hackathon in Padova, organized by TechStation, brought the Erasmus+ journey to a brilliant and inspiring conclusion.

Over three days, 122 young people from Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands collaborated in mixed teams — both onsite and online — under the theme “AI in Practice.”

Their mission: to explore how artificial intelligence can be used as a practical tool for innovation and inclusion.

Throughout the event, participants worked together to develop more than 10 digital projects, tackling real-world issues while learning to use AI in a responsible, creative, and impactful way.

The hackathon also featured an open session, “AI in Practice”, hosted at the Innovation Lab of San Giorgio delle Pertiche.

This session gathered professionals, students, and enthusiasts for hands-on demonstrations and open discussions on how AI tools can be integrated into daily work and education, and how they are reshaping modern professions.

What made this final hackathon so special was its energy — a sense of unity, curiosity, and shared purpose.

It perfectly reflected the spirit of MolenGeek International: empowering people through technology, turning learning into action, and connecting communities across Europe through innovation.
