THE GEEK SUMMIT

26 JUNE 2025

The MolenGeek International Geek Summit served as the flagship closing event of the Erasmus+ MolenGeek International project — and a symbolic celebration of 10 years of MolenGeek.

Held in Brussels and streamed online, the summit brought together 417 participants from across Europe: educators, young learners, companies, and institutions all united by one common goal — to rethink the future of digital education, inclusion, and innovation.

Structured around six thematic blocks, the summit explored the most pressing questions of our digital age:

How is artificial intelligence reshaping education and employment?

What does inclusion mean in a rapidly changing tech world?

How can educators empower young people to become active digital citizens?

The day featured keynotes, interactive workshops, and live debates with experts from Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands — including leaders from Meta, McKinsey, and partner organizations TechGrounds and TechStation.

The event also marked the official launch of the MolenGeek International Handbook and the presentation of seven full training programs, such as Full Stack Development, Cybersecurity, and AI Essentials.

Far beyond a simple conference, the Geek Summit was an interactive and forward-looking experience. It gave voice to educators, students, and innovators committed to building a more inclusive, creative, and connected Europe.

The Geek Summit wasn’t the end of a project — it was the beginning of a movement

to make tech more human, more accessible, and more inspiring for everyone.
